COURSE PROJECT
Today you should start thinking about your course project—that is, what website you want to design, build and launch during this Blueprint.
We strongly recommend you do a personal portfolio, i.e. a site that tells about you, your background and your goals, and shows off your awesome work! You're welcome to make a different kind of site if you'd like, but we'll be focusing on portfolio examples during the course.
Not sure what you could include in your portfolio? HAVE NO FEAR! Check out the following blog posts to find out the must-haves for every portfolio. And remember that you can also fill your portfolio with all the challenges and projects you complete throughout this Web Designer Blueprint!
But, first, it's time for your first To Dos! Then go in the Google Group and share what you have in mind for your course project. I've started a whole thread specifically for the topic!
Don't worry if you're not sure about all the details yet. Throughout the course, we'll be taking you step-by-step through planning and developing an incredible project that shows off your terrific new web designer skills!
